Eric Cedillo, Dallas attorney & community Leader, to receive the 1st annual “Adelante Award.”
On our 2nd Anniversary celebration on Wednesday, March 15th at 6:00 PM at the Dallas Museum of Art, the LatinoCLD will present the Adelante Award to Mr. Eric Cedillo. The Adelante Award recognizes an individual who has shown leadership on issues that matter most to the Latino community such as immigration, education, economic advancement and more. Mr. Cedillo owns the Law Offices of Eric Cedillo and is a Clinical Professor of Law and Project Coordinator of Consumer Advocacy Clinic at the SMU-Dedman School of Law. In addition, he serves on the board of many organizations, including the Dallas Housing Crisis Center and LULAC. He also serves on the Mayor’s Task Force on Education, an Advisory Committee charged with recognizing and providing best practices between city and school district and the DISD Superintendent’s Advisory Committee.

Join us as we review our past year’s accomplishments and unveil the first annual Adelante Award to an individual that has advanced the interests of and been a strong voice for the Latino Community.
Following the program, attendees will be provided an opportunity to explore the groundbreaking DMA Mexico 1910-1950 art exhibit which includes Frida Kahlo’s famous “Dos Fridas” painting as well as live entertainment.
